Objective
Obtain religious freedom and strengthen the protection of Christian communities victims of violence, discrimination or threats, and demand diplomatic and concrete, firm and coordinated action.
388 million: that’s the number of Christians persecuted worldwide. They live under the constant threat of violence, attacks, kidnappings, and administrative or social discrimination.
These persecutions, documented by numerous international organizations, constitute one of the most widespread and silent human rights violations of our time.
We call on French, European, and international institutions to:
- Officially recognize the severity of the persecution experienced by Christians,
- Strengthen diplomatic pressure on states where these violations are confirmed,
- Support NGOs and local actors who protect threatened communities,
- Establish an annual monitoring mechanism on religious freedom and violence targeting Christians,
- Ensure the shelter and protection of persons forced to flee their country due to their faith.
Freedom of conscience is a fundamental right.
No community should live in fear because of their beliefs.
